Shree Datta is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at King's College Hospital, London. She currently leads the teaching programme for Obstetric and Gynaecological specialist trainees at King's, including simulation and practical training sessions.

She has written three books, publishes regularly and been invited to speak at numerous national meetings. She is on the Board of the Journal of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine and is a trustee of the charity MedFASH. She was appointed as a member of the UK GMC in 2012 and currently is simultaneously a member of the RSM Obstetrics/Gynaecology Coucil. She has previously sat on BMA Council, reviewing the strategy and direction of these organisations.

Her main research interest relates to colposcopy and fibroids. She retains a passion for teaching and training as well as service development, on which she actively continues to lead.
