    Speciality: BSc(Hons) MB BCh DRCOG FRCGP

    Geraint is a working GP and a partner at Pencoed Medical Centre, a training practice near Bridgend in South Wales. He has lectured to Trainers' and Registrars' groups about the MRCGP AKT exam, examination technique and question writing. He has also written articles for the medical press about the use of the internet and information technology in primary care.

    He has been the Primary Care Section Editor with BMJ Group since it acquired OnExamination in 2008 and guided the development of primary care projects at OnExamination since 2004. He has been involved in the development of online educational material for GPs for the past 12 years and pioneered one of the first GP and regional VTS training websites in the country. Dr Preest has written and presented BMJ's online training videos for minor surgery and guided the development of the assessment questions used in BMJ's Masterclasses.
