Travel Medicine

As a practising GP you may need to consult on travel related medicine, this will often involve dealing with patients with pre-existing conditions.

This module will allow you to:

• Demonstrate improved knowledge of malaria prophylaxis in a number of settings
• Deal effectively with the management of sick patients returning from foreign countries
• Demonstrate increased understanding of DVT prophylaxis
• Increase your knowledge of travel vaccinations for children and the diabetic traveller
