This module integrates medicine and nutrition with 10 interesting case presentations relating to important nutritional issues. The assessment questions are designed around typical clinical conditions that you are likely to see in daily practice and are designed to complement and test your knowledge.

Following completion of this module, you should:

• Understand issues such as calculation and interpretation of BMI, glycaemic index and calorific values.
• Understand disorders relating to nutritional excess and deficiencies.
• Have an understanding of appropriate nutrition associated with certain conditions.
