This module provides a detailed assessment of clinical knowledge of DMARDs written by an experienced team of doctors and referenced to national published guidelines.
After completing this module you will; Be better informed about the prescribing and monitoring of these potentially toxic drugs. We have based some of our scenarios on known critical incidents to help you to avoid replicating errors that have occurred in the past with some of these drugs.
Many GPs will be participating in a shared care agreement with secondary care to monitor these drugs as an enhanced service. This assessment can be used to provide Local Health Boards or Primary Care Trusts with evidence of further learning and competence in monitoring DMARDs.
